Cera Talamantes
Pastor of Family Ministry
Cera is a native New Mexican, having lived in various parts of the state her whole life. She grew up in church and always felt a call to service. Cera has served in ministry for over a decade and is most drawn to preschool and children’s ministry.
Cera has a certification in Children’s Ministry from Bethel Seminary and the International Network of Children’s Ministry. She is an active member of the International Network of Children’s Ministry community, serving on their blog team, leading breakout sessions at the Children’s Pastors Conference, and serving as a coach.
In her role at Mosaic Church LC, Cera is enthusiastic about teaching and developing a family ministry starting from birth to parenthood, realizing that we are never done growing, no matter what age we are.
Cera and her husband, Joseluis, have two children, Evan and Selene. She loves to read, write, and bake with her children.
Jamie Dickerson
Teaching Team
Jamie Dickerson is a member of the founding team for Mosaic church and a current member of the church council. She also periodically teaches on Sunday mornings. Jamie is the executive director for Care Net of Las Cruces. She has a BS in Special Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. She and her husband James moved to Las Cruces in 2003 to be teachers for Las Cruces Public Schools and love being part of the Las Cruces community.
Jamie and James have been blessed with three wonderful sons: Samuel, Silas, and Boone. Jamie continues to be an educator in her role at Care Net, teaching and leading staff, volunteers, and community members about showing grace to families amid difficult circumstances. Jamie and her family are grateful to be part of Mosaic Church.
Bill Bornhauser
Teaching Team
Bill and his wife of 52 years (Pam) have lived in Las Cruces for 18 years. He has been involved with Mosaic since it’s founding in 2020. During his service to Christ he has taught both adults and students, served in various capacities on boards of Elders, councils and other leadership positions.
In Mosaic he recognizes the deep commitment to lift up others and to care for each person who is valued by Christ which is all of us. Bill and Pam are originally from Ohio and lived in the Cleveland area for 30 years. Bill help various positions unschool finance while Pam served as a pre-school teacher and administrator.
